How To Play A Thousand Years – Easy Piano Tutorial – Christina Perri – Notes and Chords

A Thousand Years Easy Piano Tutorial (Christina Perri)

In this easy piano tutorial, you will learn how to play the song, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. There are two videos for you to watch. The first one consists of the right hand melody, as well as single notes to be played with the left hand. I start by playing both the left and right hand parts together for you, then I identify the notes to be played with your right hand, followed by the left hand notes.

The second video tells you what chords to play. You play chords with the right hand and bass notes with the left. You will come across lots of slash chords in this A Thousand Years piano tutorial. If you come across “F/A”, for instance, it means to play the F major chord and play the note, A in the bass. In other words, you can play an F major chord with your right hand and play the note, A with the left.
